The two propsed wind turbines will be located on Stoke Bardolph Farm land. As the map shows the turbines sit in close proximity to Burton Joyce, Stoke Bardolph, Gedling and Shelford just over the river.

The nearest homes lie just over 550m from the turbines. You may wonder if this is too close?

Internationally recognised organisations are now recommending that industrial turbines are sited no nearer than 2 kms (2000 metres) from homes or buildings where people regularly congregate. (See table below)
